Need help or advice?

The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children’s. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.

You might be struggling to keep up with the things your child is doing online, you might wonder whether what they are doing is safe, and you might also be thinking how can I be as good a parent online as I am offline?

This part of our website aims to make online parenting simple and give you practical tips and guidance.

We hold regular online safety information sessions for parents.  Please click the 'Need help or advice' tab if you need support or contact any of our DSLs. We have placed some useful weblinks on this section of the website and our most recent parent session slides below.

The Think You Know website has provided some fantastic resources for parents to use at home with their children. Please click on the link on the right.

You can report online abuse or concerns using the icon below to CEOP.

The NCA's CEOP Command (formerly the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) works with child protection partners across the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children and coordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account. They protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.

If a school matter, or you would like help or advice from one of us, please do talk to a member of staff.
