"Let your light shine" Matthew 5:16

Welcome to Sissinghurst

We are a flourishing Church of England school set at the heart of a beautiful Kent village. As you arrive at our school, we hope that you will feel the sense of community and joyfulness which is created by our wonderful staff team and fantastic children.

We are blessed with a vibrant school community including passionate staff, children who are eager to learn, supportive parents and FOSS (Friends of Sissinghurst School).  We aim to ensure every child is valued and cherished and that they have enjoyed many wonderful experiences to prepare them for the next stage in their education by the time they leave us.

We welcomed OFSTED in April 2025. They judged each area of our school to be good or outstanding.  Read the full report here...

We are a growing school and have places in some year groups. Call the office or use the contact us button above if you would like your child to join us or to book a tour to see what we can offer your child.

In science we were modelling how natural selection affects population. We did this by using different tweezers mimicking different beak shapes in finches. The most successful shape beak would have greater population increases. @kapowprimary https://t.co/1gEGszNUBf
