We have made the decision to teach Spanish as part of our Modern Foreign Languages offer. To be able to deliver high quality Spanish lessons we use the Language Angels scheme of work which provides a well-sequenced curriculum. This well-sequenced curriculum ensures that key vocabulary is revisited time and time again to enable key learning to be retrieved and remembered. When designing our Spanish curriculum, we have carefully considered the starting points of our children and designed a progressive scheme of learning that allows solid foundations to be built and prior learning to be utilised. As well as this, we ensure it provides challenge for all learners.
