In Leopard Class we ensure that the children are making rapid progress in their learning and having fun whilst preparing for secondary school. It is important that children are challenged in their learning to achieve their very best before the transition to their new school. Every child has a buddy in Key Stage 1 that they look after throughout the year, ensuring they have someone to play with at break times and helping them walk to the church for services. Every second year we visit Hardelot in France for a week long residential. We often put on a show in the summer term for the rest of the school and parents to enjoy. The Year 6 children are all given roles of responsibility such as Head Boy/Girl or House Captain and are expected to carry out their roles seriously, ensuring they are good role models for the rest of the school to look up to.
